This Device: local-only tasks
No signup. Task text stays in the browser’s local database. After an initial online load and caching, the notebook works offline in that browser. Keep the same browser profile to find your list.
Naremis vs. Any.do
Naremis is a simple Any.do alternative when you want personal tasks in a browser without signup, AI suggestions, or reminder settings. It focuses on writing today’s list, checking off work, and carrying unfinished tasks forward.

Imagine a Saturday list: return a parcel, buy ingredients, and call a friend. Those are individual actions you intend to review yourself. In Naremis, you can write them in the order you want, finish them, or cancel an item when plans change. An unfinished item remains available when you return tomorrow.
Now imagine that the grocery list belongs to your whole household or an errand needs a location reminder. A personal notebook is no longer the whole answer. Any.do’s shared spaces and reminder options may suit that routine better. Naremis deliberately keeps the smaller case small: your own actions, on a dated page, without another person’s notifications or assignments.
The crosses in Naremis’s column are deliberate product choices. Read the conditions alongside each check; an integration or paid feature is not the same as a built-in free feature.

A check means available; conditions are stated in the cell. A cross means absent. A dash means unverified, not absent. This is a comparison of workflows, not a security ranking.
Choose Vintage Paper, Modern Light, or Modern Dark. Adjust the font, light and dark accents, dividers, dot grid, hover treatment, and notebook frame.

Google sign-in enables Naremis Sync and imports your local notebook. Task data is stored in Naremis’s synchronized service. Sync needs a connection and is not end-to-end encrypted.
Clearing site data or losing the device can permanently remove local-only tasks. Local storage is not a backup or a promise of protection from someone with access to your device.
Naremis has no AI processing of task text. Optional usage analytics require consent and exclude task content. Read the privacy policy, analytics policy, and offline storage explanation.
Bring only your own actions into a plain-text daily list. Keep shared board tasks and location or repeat reminders in Any.do if other people or timed alerts still depend on them.
There is no direct Any.do import. Pasting plain text does not transfer dates, history, attachments, or feature settings. Native Naremis desktop and mobile downloads are not released; use the browser app.

Any.do offers a Free personal plan. Naremis is another free option under its current offer; the reason to try it is the account-free local notebook and smaller workflow, not a claim that Any.do has no free plan.
No. Naremis has no location or timed reminders. Use it when returning to your list is enough; keep a reminder tool for tasks that depend on an alert.
