Naremis is a free alternative to using Notion as a daily to-do list. Open a dated notebook without building a database, choosing a template, or signing up. It is designed for personal tasks, not for replacing Notion’s documents, knowledge base, or team projects.

Suppose your immediate goal is to write a draft, review two pages, and send a reply. In Naremis, start typing on today’s page. There are no database properties to name, filtered views to configure, or templates to maintain before that list is usable. Reorder it by hand and check work off as you finish.
This tradeoff becomes less useful when the task needs its own brief, related documents, multiple owners, or a structured status. Those are good reasons to use a connected workspace. Try a daily notebook for actions that can be understood in plain text; keep the surrounding reference material and shared processes in Notion.

Sync: an optional cloud copy
Google sign-in enables Naremis Sync and imports your local notebook. Task data is stored in Naremis’s synchronized service. Sync needs a connection and is not end-to-end encrypted.
Know what local-only means
Clearing site data or losing the device can permanently remove local-only tasks. Local storage is not a backup or a promise of protection from someone with access to your device.
Naremis has no AI processing of task text. Optional usage analytics require consent and exclude task content. Read the privacy policy, analytics policy, and offline storage explanation.

Select a small set of actionable task titles, not a whole database. Bring those lines into today’s notebook. Keep linked pages, documents, properties, and shared records in Notion; Naremis has no equivalent database import.
- Open Naremis in your browser and write a few tasks for today.
- Paste multiple lines into an empty task to create separate tasks. Or start with these sample daily lists.
- Check off finished work and return tomorrow to see what rolls forward.
There is no direct Notion import. Pasting plain text does not transfer dates, history, attachments, or feature settings. Native Naremis desktop and mobile downloads are not released; use the browser app.

Can Naremis replace my whole Notion workspace?
No. It can replace the personal daily checklist portion. It does not provide documents, databases, rich text, team pages, or linked project records.
