Imagine finishing a work session and wanting a short personal list: book a repair, prepare dinner, and read a few pages. You can open Naremis and write those actions without choosing a Microsoft identity or connecting an email account. The list stays in that browser in This Device mode.
That separation is a workflow choice. It does not make a shared or work-managed tool a bad choice. If your next actions come from Outlook and need to appear across Microsoft tools, maintaining that connection may save effort. Naremis is useful when the list can stand on its own and you are comfortable returning to it without alerts.

Sync: an optional cloud copy
Google sign-in enables Naremis Sync and imports your local notebook. Task data is stored in Naremis’s synchronized service. Sync needs a connection and is not end-to-end encrypted.
Know what local-only means
Clearing site data or losing the device can permanently remove local-only tasks. Local storage is not a backup or a promise of protection from someone with access to your device.
Naremis has no AI processing of task text. Optional usage analytics require consent and exclude task content. Read the privacy policy, analytics policy, and offline storage explanation.

There is no direct Microsoft To Do import. Pasting plain text does not transfer dates, history, attachments, or feature settings. Native Naremis desktop and mobile downloads are not released; use the browser app.

Is switching about avoiding a subscription?
Microsoft To Do is already free for personal Microsoft accounts. Naremis’s distinction here is local browser use without that account and a daily notebook with rollover, not a claim that Microsoft To Do requires a paid personal plan.
Can Naremis connect to Outlook tasks?
No. Naremis does not integrate with Outlook or synchronize with Microsoft To Do. Its optional Google sign-in enables Naremis Sync, not an email or calendar connection.
